Overview

The Wedding System is a social feature in Lineage II Interlude that allows two players to become engaged and then formally married through the Aphrodite Wedding Priest NPC. Marriage is purely a social and roleplay feature โ€” it grants a teleport command and fireworks ceremony, but no combat benefits.

  • โ—† Both players must be on each other's friends list before an engagement request can be sent.
  • โ—† Same-sex marriage is allowed.
  • โ—† A player who attempts to engage another while already married will be punished.
  • โ—† Both partners must wear Formal Wear and bring a combined total of 25,000,000 Adena (12,500,000 each) to complete the ceremony.

Engagement

Engagement is the first step toward marriage. It is initiated through a voice command and requires both characters to already be friends in-game.

๐Ÿ“‹
How to Engage
  1. Add each other to your Friends List (both players must have each other listed).
  2. Target the player you wish to engage.
  3. Type the voice command .engage nameofyourpartner and press Enter.
  4. A popup notification appears on the target's screen requesting engagement.
  5. The target player accepts the invitation โ€” both players are now engaged.
3
โ›ช
Marriage Ceremony

Once engaged, both players travel to the Aphrodite Wedding Priest NPC located in the Einhasad Temple, Town of Rune (Town of Rune) to complete the marriage.

๐Ÿ›
Requirements
  • โ—† Formal Wear โ€” both players must be wearing their wedding attire (obtained via the Make Formal Wear quest chain).
  • โ—† 25,000,000 Adena total โ€” each partner pays 12,500,000 Adena individually at the NPC.
๐ŸŽŠ
Ceremony Steps
  1. Both engaged players travel to Aphrodite at the Einhasad Temple, Town of Rune (Town of Rune).
  2. Each player speaks to Aphrodite individually and submits their marriage request.
  3. Both players confirm they have Formal Wear equipped and 12,500,000 Adena each (25,000,000 total) ready.
  4. Fireworks are displayed and a server-wide announcement marks the union โ€” the two players are now married.

Voice Commands

After marriage, several voice commands become available to interact with your partner directly from anywhere in the world.

.engage <name> Send an engagement request to the targeted player (must be on friends list). Free
.gotolove <name> Teleport directly to your married partner, anywhere in the world. ⏱ Reuse delay: 1 hour (3600s) 50,000 ₳
.divorce <name> Cancel your engagement or marriage. Your partner receives a compensation payout. 5,000,000 โ‚ณ
๐Ÿ“œ The divorce cost of 5,000,000 Adena represents 20% of the original wedding fee. The compensation is paid to the other partner upon separation.

Divorce

Either partner can end a marriage or engagement at any time using the divorce voice command. A fee is charged and the other partner receives a compensation payout.

  • โ—† Type .divorce <partnername> to initiate the separation.
  • โ—† Divorce costs 5,000,000 Adena โ€” equal to 20% of the original 25,000,000 Adena wedding fee.
  • โ—† The same command cancels an engagement before a full ceremony has taken place.
โš  Players who attempt to engage another player while currently married will face in-game punishment. Divorce first before pursuing a new engagement.
